Struggling with overwhelming emotions?
Unwanted thoughts?
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of how to cope with life’s challenges?
You are not alone. I help teens, adults, and families navigate intense emotions, distressing thoughts, trauma, and difficult relationships to feel more in control, resilient, and confident.
I am a Harvard- and Emory-trained licensed clinical psychologist with advanced training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I work with adolescents, adults, and families who are motivated to learn how to better manage their emotions, behaviors, and relationships. We focus on making sense of what’s happening (internally and externally) and identifying emotional and behavioral patterns. We build skills to cope with intense emotions, better understand thoughts, and improve relationships.
I also work with parents who are seeking support with navigating the challenges of parenting and family life, whether you are expecting or adjusting to life with a new baby, navigating developmental changes, or working through challenging family dynamics with adolescents and young adults. I provide guidance on how to manage emotions, respond more effectively to your child, reduce conflict, and develop a more connected family environment.
Additionally, I offer family therapy sessions to family members who are interested in practicing their communication skills together, with support.
Therapy can feel intimidating, especially when life is already stressful. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental, emotionally safe therapy space that is affirming of all backgrounds, genders, and sexual identities. My approach as a therapist is compassionate, collaborative, and structured. It is important that my patients feel comfortable expressing themselves and exploring difficult issues.
Please reach out with any questions or if you would like to talk about whether therapy with me feels right for you.

My Approach
Therapy is a collaborative process that begins with feeling understood. Many individuals come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns they want to change but aren’t always sure how to move forward. Together, we work to better understand these patterns, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful changes that support greater emotional well-being and more fulfilling relationships.
My approach to therapy balances insight and action. I value taking time to explore your experiences, emotions, relationships, and the ways your past may influence your present, while also focusing on practical tools that can help you feel better and make changes in your daily life. My primary approaches are DBT and CBT. I integrate other evidence-based approaches as needed, as I personalize therapy based on each individual's symptoms, experiences, and goals.
I strive to create a therapy environment that feels warm, genuine, and accepting while also being thoughtful, engaged, and direct. I believe meaningful therapy happens when you feel safe enough to be honest, curious enough to explore new perspectives, and supported as you work toward change. I see the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for growth, healing, and self-understanding.
My goal is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, strengthen your ability to navigate challenges, and build the skills needed to create a life that feels more balanced, connected, and fulfilling.

Your Questions, Answered
I am not in-network with any insurance companies, but some plans may offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network therapy. If you would like to use out-of-network benefits, you can verify your coverage by calling the member services number on your insurance card and asking about your plan’s out-of-network mental health benefits.
